The Alumni Awards Foundation (AAF) is composed of volunteers willing to fund, celebrate and bring greater excellence to Adventist education. AAF's goal is that every Adventist K-12 school in North America would develop a vision and implementation plan by which it can become a stable, thriving institution that offers a first-class academic and spiritual experience for its students. Adventist K-12 schools are facing overwhelming challenges on how to remain viable into the 21st century. Research shows that Adventist schools have experienced a 32% drop in enrollment over the last 3 decades, and confidence in the Adventist school system is waning. AAF wants to be a part of the solution to these challenges by bringing visionary leadership, financial stability and sustainable business models to Adventist schools.
An independent 501(c)3 organization, AAF exists for the sole benefit of Adventist education. No other organization exists for the unique purpose of encouraging a stronger, superior, sustainable network of Adventist schools across North America. In partnership with the North American Division Office of Education, AAF has awarded grants totaling more than $1.4 million. AAF has honored 57 distinguished alumni of Adventist schools, 89 exceptional teachers, and 14 exemplary academies.
Our mission, however, is powerless without consistent collaboration and support from the Adventist community. The Board of Directors underwrites all operating expenses, including overhead, administration, and fundraising. Because of their significant financial commitment, investors have full assurance that their generosity will go directly to benefit Seventh-day Adventist education. We invite you to join with us to revitalize and strengthen Adventist education.
